Life

We all want to live as long as we possibly can for our benefit and for our loved ones. We want to see our children grow up and the grand children as well. We want to be able to do as much as we can in the time that we have here on earth.  Smokers on average do not have the opportunity to do or see any of this because their lives are gone away. Gone away in a puff of smoke.

Typically, smokers according to the Center for Disease Control (CDC), die 14 years earlier than non-smokers. Their lives are filled with going to the doctor’s office more so than their non-smoking family and friend members. They typically miss more days at work versus their co-workers who do not smoke. As a result the financial cost of smoking rises far beyond the price of a pack of cigarettes.

So what is a smoker to do since he and she have tried and failed to quit on their own several times? Well one thing that they can try is the electronic cigarettes. It looks like a cigarette. It feels like a cigarette. It even lets you exhale vapors like a cigarette. The big difference in the life expectancy of a smoker through an electronic cigarettes is that it will not harm his or her health as much as a regular cigarette.

An electronic cigarettes is still harmful to a smoker’s body; however, it is not as harmful as a regular cigarette because it introduces less tar and nicotine to the body. Since it does not introduce as much known harmful elements to the smoker’s body, the smoker is able to live a bit longer. With the smoker being healthier, he or she will be making less trips to the doctor, the financial burden on their families is reduced as well as the 14 year life expectancy gap with non-smokers.
